Its primary purpose is to address financial risks, promote reform in state-owned banks, and facilitate the recovery of state-owned enterprises. The company’s main business includes the management of non-performing assets, financial services, as well as asset management and investment operations, with non-performing asset management being its core business. Currently, CITIC Group holds a 26.46% stake in China Huarong.
