CITIC Mining International

CITIC Mining International is one of the world’s leading producers of magnetite iron ore and a large supplier of magnetite concentrate to China, producing and shipping over 20 million tons of concentrate annually. The company upholds the principle of efficiency, energy conservation and pollution reduction in its operation. The iron pellets from magnetite concentrate improve the efficiency of the blast furnace, consume less energy and reduce carbon emissions. Its Sino Iron project in Western Australia is a large greenfield mining project in which it holds a 100% controlling interest.
